West Midlands personal lines broker, Bromwich Insurance, has opted to trade all of its business via the Open GI platform.

The firm, which as an independent offers a wide of products, has been reviewing the IT infrastructure across its seven offices and plans to integrate 41 system users onto a centralised platform.

The contract will run for four years and includes Open GI’s user interface, Open-i, Open Attach, Open Word and the eBroker offering.

In the coming months a number of major system developments will be implemented and Bromwich’s chief executive, Dawn Owen, is confident that efficiency will be improved once all the firm’s branches are consolidated on the platform.

She adds that Bromwich recognises how critical online trading has become to the success of the business and that open GI has been chosen as a partner because of its proven track record.

Bromwich Insurance was founded in 1966 as a family run concern dealing primarily in motor insurance, which is still its core product.
