More brokers are contracting for Open GI’s eCommerce solutions according to the firm’s new business team.

It is thought that an ever expanding range of online possibilities are fuelling the increase in contracts, which point to the internet as a potentially great arena for aspirational entrepreneurs to work in.

Essex-based non-standard motor insurer Right Choice Insurance Brokers is one of the most recent brokers to have utilised Open GI’s platform to incorporate the internet into their business.

In just six months the firm has enjoyed such success online that now three-fifths of its business comes via its website (www.rcib.co.uk).

By making use of Open GI’s eBroker and eAggregator, the website is able to offer quotes from a broad range of sources which have proved so successful that the firm is set to launch four new websites.

Mike Joseph, the MD of Right Choice, has expressed his view that brokers can use the internet to improve their business through reducing premiums for customers who are dealt with on an individual basis.

Joseph went on to explain that start up firms, with smaller staffing capabilities, naturally needed a strong, efficient mechanism to achieve this and that the Open GI solutions selected by the firm delivered the efficiency required.
