Allianz Insurance has announced the appointment of Simon Law to the position of motor damage supply manager.

He has been with the firm for nine years, and joined from AGF Insurance in 1999.

Law will be tasked with responsibility for the chain of motor supply, most especially the managing the repairer network and liaising with trade associations, paint manufacturers and vehicle manufacturers.

Law succeeds Philip Brailey, who departs from the role to take on a two year secondment with the Munich-based Allianz global team.

Brailey’s new job will involve seeking global opportunities for business to benefit the firm’s group of companies.

Law has expressed his excitement at his appointment, and praised Brailey’s tremendous work in the role.
