Willis Group Holdings has named its new Global Sales & Marketing director as Allan Gribben, who is presently the chief executive officer of Willis International.

In his new role, Gribben will be responsible for attracting new clients, and will be heading up the team dedicated to this purpose.

He will also be tasked with fostering relationships with existing clients and locating new potential sources of profit and revenue growth.

As director he will play a part in the Shaping Our Future strategy by leading the Client and Growth initiative designed to bolster retention of clients and profitability.

Joe Plumeri, chairman and chief executive officer of Willis, has praised Gribben’s performance as Willis International CEO, saying that he has exceeded expectations.
