Hyperion Insurance Group has appointed Eric Fady as the firm’s new group finance director.

Fady comes to the role equipped with experience of financial services on the world stage, including a stint as Marsh’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) finance director, which he held until last year.

Earlier in his career he worked for Dun & Bradstreet, again in the EMEA area as chief financial officer, and vice president.

During his time with Dun & Bradstreet he was involved in the development of an improved business model for the firm, which subsequently effected a significant bettering of their performance.

Hyperion’s chief executive officer, David Howden, has expressed his delight at the appointment, adding that Fady will be a valuable addition to the team.
