Massimo Reina was yesterday named as Guy Carpenter’s chief executive officer of Guy Carpenter Srl, Milan.

Prior to joining the firm, Reina served as Aon Re Italy’s general manager.

As such, Reina assumes responsibility for the firm’s Italian business and will be based in Milan.

He will report directly to Bernard Paul, Guy Carpenter’s Southern Europe Region chief.

In a further appointment, Guy Carpenter Srl, Milan has a new chairman in the form of Andrea Manzitti.

Manzitti has been playing a critical part in the success enjoyed by the firm in Italy for the last six years.

European Operations CEO Nick Frankland has stated that Italy remains a place of opportunity for the firm, and that Guy Carpenter intends to take advantage of that by bolstering its team there.
