Legal & General’s (L&G) Mortgage Club is to operate a new service for fast conveyancing which will offer a competitive price for customers, and provide advisers the chance for new revenue streams.

To reduce delay between application and completion, L&G has chosen a number of conveyancing companies with rapid turnaround.

The service will be available to representative advisers who have been appointed or directly authorised.

L&G’s Mortgages director, Ben Thompson, has stated that the move is part of a broader step to expand the offering the firm makes around the process of housing transaction.

The conveyancing firms selected for their quick turnaround times are eConveyancer, MyHomeMove and enact/Live, and advisers will be able to pick which company they believe will be most suitable.
