Keoghs announce raft of promotions
Law firm Keoghs has announced a raft of promotions, including three new partners.
Gary Fitzpatrick, Disease Team leader, becomes an equity partner.
Fitzpatrick has a decade’s worth of experience handling disease claims, and is a specialist in dealing with asbestos, upper limb disorders related to occupation, and a number of other areas.
He is also highly experienced in complex causation disputes.
Melanie Mooney is promoted to become a junior equity partner.
Mooney works within the Liability Team as a multi-track team leader, and handles injury claims worth up to a quarter of a million pounds and is a credit hire expert.
Keoghs’ first senior associate is Helen McGovern, who assumes the post which has been created for non-solicitors and is equivalent to a junior equity partner.
McGovern has wide experience of RTA, EL and PL, and is the leader of the Motor/Household Team.
Ian May is promoted to associate support level, another recently created position which came into being last year.
May, Risk and Quality Manager, is responsible for all areas of risk across business and manages them in collaboration with the Risk, Quality and Compliance Team.
