Brit Insurance has opened a new underwriting centre in Reading.

The Reading team is led by Richard Carter, Southern Regional Manager, who is assisted by Mick Hunter who has responsibility for fostering business relationships.

The centre will house a number of skilled, experienced underwriters who cover the entirety of Brit Insurance’s full range of products.

Brokers will be able to meet with underwriters in an informal policy, as the centre adopts the insurer’s open-door policy.

Peter Burrows, CEO of Brit UK, explains that the opening of the new underwriting centre underlines the firm’s commitment to the South.
