Aon Corporation has appointed Damien Guermonprez to serve as chief executive officer of Aon France.
He will join the firm on 1 September and become a member of the Aon Risk Services board.
Guermonprez leaves behind his role as Banque Accord’s CEO, during which time the firm increased in size five times and launched operations into multiple new countries.
Earlier in his career he worked for Case Credit Europe (which he was a founder of), as well as 3 Suisses International and Renault Credit International.
Guermonprez succeeds Vincent Redier, who will retain his position as executive chairman of Aon France, his seat on Aon Risk Services’ executive board and the chairmanship of Aon Re EMEA.
Aon Corporation’s president and CEO, Gregory Case, has welcomed the appointment, adding that he is pleased Redier is to remain on at the firm.
