Ernst & Young has appointed Howard Roth to serve as Global and Americas real estate director.
Roth brings more than three decades of experience to the role, and will be tasked with the co-ordination of some 5,000 real estate professionals around the world.
He succeeds Dale Anne Reiss, who retired from the role at the end of June.
Roth is tremendously skilful and respected, according to Reiss, who went on to say that under his leadership the real estate division would continue to flourish.
Roth has stated that he intends the real estate division to focus upon a select number of key priorities in the immediate future.
These key areas include sustainability and responsible property investing, the tightening of credit markets in the wake of the subprime mortgage crisis and global infrastructure development and privatisation.
