Aon Risk Services Southern California has announced that Brendan Dolan has been appointed as senior vice president of the Financial Services Group at the Los Angeles office.

Dolan brings over two decades to his post, and rejoins Aon following a stint at Marsh where he served in the National Financial and Professional Practice as senior vice president and senior client advisor.

He also served on the advisory board of the Practice.

Prior to his role at Marsh, he worked for Aon’s Denver-based national executive protection practice, part of the Financial Services Group.

The Aon Financial Services Group manages annual premium of more than $2.5bn, and has settled claims worth more than $3.5bn since 2006 alone.

Aon’s Financial Services Practice leader, Robert Smith, has expressed his delight at welcoming Dolan back to the firm.
