Guy Carpenter has announced the appointment of Trisha Rozas to the newly created post of chief information officer.

She leaves behind CIT Group, where she served as chief information officer of commercial finance, to join Guy Carpenter.

During her career she has also worked for AIG, Deloitte and Touche, and Chemical Bank.

Rozas, who assumes her position with immediate effect, is directly responsible to chief operating officer Charlie Fry.

She is based in Hoboken, NJ, and will focus her attention upon the enhancement and utilisation of technology across the entire firm.

Rozas will aim to improve cost efficiencies, support customer service and punctually deliver management information.

Fry has welcomed her appointment, and praised Rozas’ experience and leadership skills.
