Lockton has announced the appointment of Joseph Ziegler to the position of chief operating officer with Lockton Affinity.

He succeeds Marianne Sears, who is to remain with the firm in the capacity of executive vice president of operations.

Sears has been with Lockton for 20 years, and will retain her supervisory role over information technology, rating and processing.

Ziegler, who has spent a decade working for Lockton, will henceforth be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Lockton Affinity, including sales, marketing, underwriting and other areas.

Steve Eginoire, Affinity’s chairman, has welcomed Ziegler’s addition to the firm, describing how he has gained the confidence of clients and associates alike.

Eginoire went on to say that he expected Ziegler to play a leading part in the firm’s development over the coming years.
