John D. Finnegan, Chubb Corporation’s president and chief executive officer, has announced a quartet of executive promotions.

John J. Degnan joined the firm some 18 years ago, and has been promoted to the posts of vice chairman and chief operating officer.

The new executive vice president and chief underwriting officer is Paul J. Krump.

Krump, who has been with Chubb for a quarter of a century, leaves behind his leadership of the Chubb Commercial Insurance to assume responsibility for Chubb Commercial Insurance, Chubb Personal Insurance, Chubb Specialty Insurance and Surety.

Harold L. Morrison, Jr, who has spent over two decades with the firm, becomes the new chief global field officer and executive vice president.

Dino E. Robusto has been promoted to the roles of chief administrative officer and executive vice president.

In their new positions Krump, Morrison and Robusto are to report directly to Degnan.

According to Finnegan, the changes will enable the company to be well placed for the next generation of leadership.
