Beazley Furlonge Ltd, (the Lloyd’s managing agency at Beazley Group plc), has announced the appointment of Chris London to the board, in the capacity of non-executive director.

London’s appointment is effective immediately subject to FSA and Lloyd’s approval.

He brings to the role over three decades of experience working in the insurance industry in senior positions.

Earlier in his career he worked for Willis’ Global Specialties business as chairman and CEO.

More recently he held the position of global sales and marketing director with Willis.

Beazley’s chief executive, Andrew Beazley, has welcomed London’s appointment, describing his experience as exceptional.
