On Friday, MMC (Marsh & McLennan Companies) announced the retirement of Kroll’s founder, Jules B. Kroll, from MMC in July.

Chief executive officer and president of MMC, Brian Duperreault, praised Kroll’s contribution to the risk mitigation field.

Duperreault went on to congratulate Kroll on his firm’s leading position and wished him well for the future.

Kroll himself has stated that after more than three decades leading his firm, he feels the time is right to move on to pastures new, adding that he had confidence in the leadership team that now leads the firm.

It is likely that his plans will involve higher education, in addition to writing a book regarding the Kroll company and its achievements.

Kroll Associates was founded back in 1972, growing over the years to become a global leader in risk mitigation.
