Today Beazley Group plc has announced a number of executive personnel changes, with Andrew Beazley appointed deputy chairman.
Beazley’s present position of chief executive will be occupied by Andrew Horton, currently group finance director.
Both changes will take effect on 1 September of this year.
No successor is in place for the role of group finance director, although the board has begun to initiate its search for a suitable replacement for Horton.
Elsewhere in the firm, Johnny Rowell, executive director, is to part ways with Beazley Group.
Andrew Beazley has expressed his confidence in Horton’s appointment as his successor, adding that he looks forward to collaborating with Horton in his new role as deputy chairman.
