Heath Lambert has confirmed that it has permitted a number of employees from its international wholesale division Global Business Solutions to be freed from their contracts in order to join Arthur J. Gallagher International.

It is not known what sum was involved for the contractual release.

The move marks the last stage in Heath Lambert’s strategic direction to focus upon UK retail operations and speciality wholesale services, according to Adrian Colosso, the firm’s group chief executive.

Speaking for Gallagher, David Ross (CEO for the UK), has expressed his delight at the deal going ahead.

Ross went on to say that the team transferring to Gallagher would enhance its services and bring a great amount of expertise with them.
