Ecclesiastical has announced the appointment of Mark Bodenham to the post of fine arts claims adviser.

He joins the specialist insurer from auctioneer Christie’s, leaving behind the role of in-house claims manager.

In his previous job with Christie’s he was responsible for a broad range of claims, and, in addition to this, provided risk management advice.

Bodenham’s new position will make him responsible for claims for antiques and art made by the firm’s heritage commercial customers.

Ecclesiastical’s claims manager, David Bonehill, has welcomed Bodenham to the firm and praised his expertise.
