Heath Lambert has made a pair of key hires, following the restructuring of its National division.

Mark Trevor is named as chief operating officer for Heath Lambert National.

Trevor leaves behind Hiscox, where he served as managing director of Event Insurance, to assume the role.

In his new position he will be tasked with developing and implementing business strategy and improving operational performance.

Elsewhere Steve Totty joins from Willis to take up the post of product development director.

Totty’s responsibility will be to create and foster the links between specialist areas and regional offices.

Attracting men of the calibre of Totty and Trevor are a strong sign that Heath Lambert is becoming the employer of choice, according to Graham Barr, managing director of Heath Lambert National.
