Aon Risk Services has announced that Christopher Scontras has been appointed to the post of senior vice president of the New England office.

He has spent 27 years accumulating experience in the industry, and leaves behind the Bank of America to join Aon.

In his previous job, Scontras served as senior vice president at Bank of America’s Boston office.

Earlier in his career he worked for Arthur J. Gallagher as president of the New England Area, as well as holding a range of positions with Marsh.

Scontras is to be responsible for client development, in addition to meeting the enterprise risk management needs of clients and assisting clients in the energy sector.
