New Kopel Insurance implements InsFocus data mangement

New Kopel Insurance Company (NKIC), part of the Israeli-based Shlomo vehicle leasing group, has implemented a business intelligence systems supplied by InsFocus.

NKIC began operating in the field of general insurance in 2007 and has ambitious plans to expand to all branches of the industry in the coming years.

The system, InsFocus BI, has been designed specifically for the content, calculations, definitions and data structures of insurance companies and will manage the firm’s own data plus data from external sources.

It has the capacity to perform a variety of insurance-specific analyses, functions and reports that can enable insurers to keep track of their business performance and profitability.

A distinct feature of InsFocus BI is that it uses familiar insurance terminology and can generate reports and analysis with flexibility.

The system works across the full data warehousing process, from the input of raw data to report production.

As such it serves as a tool for insurance professionals in marketing, underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and actuarial and accounting functions.
