Michael Gould has been appointed by Hiscox to serve as chief operating officer.

Gould’s appointment will be effective from 9 June.

He leaves behind Aon, where he worked for five years as chief operating officer for the corporate division.

Earlier in his career Gould worked for American Express, occupying a range of roles during a 14 year stint.

In his new role, he will report directly to the firm’s chief executive officer, Bronek Masojada, whilst being made responsible for IT, Operations and Property Services across the entire Hiscox Group.

Bronek Masojada has welcomed Gould to his new role, praising his leadership skills, experience and knowledge.
