Heath Lambert Group has announced that Jim Lorimer is to be appointed to the post of strategic development director of Heath Lambert Insurance Services (HLIS).

HLIS has seen recent rapid growth, with a broadening client base and a number of new partners.

The Insurance Services business has also benefited from solid investment and a sound e-commerce infrastructure.

Lorimer assumes the role of strategic development director, but will retain his present position as chief information officer of the Group.

He has worked with the management division of HLIS closely, and thus brings some knowledge of the business to his new role.

His appointment is made in an effort to increase the speed of progress of implementing important strategic projects at HLIS.

Lorimer will also be tasked with widening the business’ market reach and product range, particularly through the utility of e-commerce and other technological means.
