At the BIBA 2008 Conference Arista has announced that it would be open to an increased number of independent UK brokers seeking to trade online.

Arista’s own online facility was launched recently, becoming active in February.

However, at the time of its launch the online trading platform was available only to Arista’s brokers.

The firm enjoyed a successful trial period, and has decided to open the the facility to all independent UK brokers, contingent upon certain criteria being met.

Brokers who use the site will be able to get instant quotes for packages that can be reviewed and/or amended.

When a quote is accepted, the broker will receive e-mailed policy documents.

Arista’s entire package product range will soon be online, and trades & professionals and property owner offerings are already online.

Charles Earle, chief executive officer, has explained that the new online trading platform will provide brokers with time and cost savings through improved efficiency.
