CMG has launched a Gibraltar-based niche business, with a UK office in Belfast.
The claims management and consultancy firm aims to service protected cell companies, open market insurers and insurance managers across the EU and EEA. It will also manage claims for the captive insurance sector, worldwide.
The group will provide claims processing and handling; run off claims processing; bespoke claims auditing, consultancy and administration.
The company’s Gibraltar location means that VAT is exempt on professional services and will therefore provide a cost benefit for any customers within the EU or EEA.
CMG is keen to point out that its staff has extensive legal and CII experience and its managing director, Conor McGahon, expects the business to grow strongly because the current economic climate is likely to result in a rise in outsourcing in the insurance sector.
Mr Conor has several years of extensive worldwide experience in the insurance industry and says he is looking forward to spending more time in one place and focusing on building CMG’s client base in Gibraltar.
