Arista Insurance has bolstered its presence in the north west of England with the addition to its Manchester branch of a broker development manager and senior underwriter.

Mike Shallcross joins the firm to assume the post of broker development manager, which will see him tasked with responsibility for developing and maintaining Arista’s broker panel for the north west.

Shallcross leaves behind Greystone Insurance Services where he served as a director, and brings with him over two decades of industry experience.

In his new post he will be directly responsible to Paul Dooley, regional manager.

Dave Carroll is named as senior commercial underwriter, and will be charged with fostering business across the entirety of insurance areas.

Carroll will also report directly to Paul Dooley, who has welcomed the two new appointments to the Manchester branch.
