Airclaims announces four appointments

Airclaims has announced a quartert of new appointments, one in Miami and the remainder in London.

In Miami, Miguel Uz is appointed to the position of aviation surveyor, bringing with him almost two decades of industry experience.

Uz has experience in both the commercial and general areas of aviation, in addition to being fluent in both Spanish and English.

In London, Darcy Beamer-Downie leaves behind Beaumont / Clyde & Co. to join Airclaims as general counsel.

In her six years at Beaumont / Clyde and Co. she handled litigation for insuers, MROs as well as airlines.

As general counsel, Beamer-Downie will be tasked with leading the Airclaims Legal Services team.

Also appointed in London are Cameron Hogg and Jonathan Salmon.

Hogg and Salmon both become aviation surveyors, effective in May.

Hogg brings with him 20 years of experience, and has worked as both an engineer and maintenance manager on a broad range of large civil aircraft.

Salmon has knowledge of a wide variety of aircraft, particularly executive jets and general aviation.

Mark Hunter, the MD of Airclaims Group, has welcomed the four new appointments to the firm.
