Willis has appointed Paul Ward to serve as the firm’s regional market officer for Asia.

The move has been made to bolster the firm’s management team in the region.

Ward’s Singapore-based position will see him tasked with collaborating with carriers in order to find opportunities for growth and formulating marketing strategies for large accounts.

He will be directly responsible to the regional director for Asia, Roger Wilkinson.

Wilkinson has praised Ward’s global experience, describing him as an asset in Willis’ bid to exploit the opportunities and meet the challenges of the Asian region.

Ward himself has said that he is looking forward to working in such a dynamic region.
