The chief executive of the FSA, Hector Sants, has announced a raft of personnel changes in the upper echelons.
The most significant change is the departure of retail business managing director Clive Briault, by mutural agreement.
David Kenmir is to assume his vacated role on a temporary basis, with the position to be advertised.
Kenmir’s role of chief operating officer will be taken up by Kathleen Reeves, currently human resources director, again on a temporary basis.
The most important areas of retail group supervision and financial stability are to be given their own specific leaders.
The post of financial stability sector leader is to be David Strachan’s sole concern.
Together with Thomas Huertas Strachan will join the office of the chief executive.
The position of acting director of retail groups will be taken by Clive Adamson.
The plethora of changes will be effective from 7 April.
