Manchester-based CBG Group has reported its 2007 results, with pre-tax profits hitting £1.9 million, an on year increase of 60%.

The financial services and insurance broker specialist saw revenues rise by more than 40% to £7.4 million.

The group made a number of acquisitions during 2007, and is expecting more this year.

CBG’s chairman, Laurie Turnbull, said of the results: “In an ever changing market place, CBG continues to enhance shareholder value through the delivery of sustainable growth in revenue, profit and earnings per share.

“Our strategy of growth by selective acquisitions, underpinned by the enhancement of customer relationship values through the cross-selling process, continues to be reflected in yet another year’s excellent results.”
