Abbey Protection plc’s board is to be bolstered by the presence of Paul Wilson, who is to assume the position of non-executive director.

It has been proposed that he sit on a number of committees, including those responsible for Audit and Nomination.

Wilson is presently an advisor to Bain & Company, in addition to holding the post of non-executive director with R J Kiln & Co Ltd.

Earlier in his career he ran Gemini UK, and then served as its Global Financial Services Practice chief.

Abbey Protection’s chief executive officer, Colin Davison, has welcomed Wilson’s appointment, saying that he will bring a great deal of industrial experience with him.

Wilson himself has said he is looking forward to the role and supporting Abbey.
