Trio recruited by Arista

Three new staff members have been recruited by Arista to serve in its North West regional office, in Manchester.

The post of senior fleet underwriter is occupied by Pauline Spencer, who will be take responsibility for the underwriting of all classes of commercial motor business.

She joins Arista from NIG, where she held the post of technical team leader.

Peter Howard and Martin Hyde are both appointed as senior underwriters, who will be tasked with handling and developing all other commercial lines business.

Howard, like Spencer, is recruited from NIG, whereas Hyde worked for Chubb as senior development underwriter.

Charles Earle, chief executive officer, explained that the firm was seeking to replicate in the north its recent southern successes.

Earle went on to say that with the trio of new appointments Arista’s northern business was poised to achieve its ambitious targets.
