Cabiallavetta retires from MMC vice chairmanship

Mathis Cabiallavetta, the vice chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies’ CEO office, is to retire from the firm, from 1 September.

After parting ways with MMC Cabiallavetta will join the Swiss Re board of directors.

However, he will retain his position as chairman of the International Advisory Board.

Brian Duperreault, chief executive officer and president of MMC, has praised Cabiallavetta’s contribution to the firm over the nine and a half years spent at the firm.

Duperreault went on to congratulate him on his appointment to the Swiss Re board, adding that he was pleased Cabiallavetta will be staying on as International Advisory chairman.
