Rob Dowman, Stuart Short and Russ Nichols have all been promoted to serve as managing directors of their divisions, (casualty, property and professional and financial risks respectively), by Besso.

Short will become co-managing director of the professional and financial risks division, collaborating with his colleague Jason Rose.

The division focuses upon the liabilities of directors and officers, and recently released a range of products in the e-commerce area.

Besso’s executive chairman, Colin Bird, explained that the firm has seen rapid expansion over the course of the last twelve months and that the three new managing directors had all met the challenges this entailed.

Bird went on to applaud their efforts and praise their high skill levels.
