Willis has made a range of appointments, and created a number of new positions within the firm.
Grahame Millwater has been promoted from chief operating officer to the post of president.
Millwater is a veteran of Willis, having spent more than two decades there.
As president, he will be responsible for fostering businesses across the world, global marketing, and providing support to the firm’s worldwide reinsurance unit, Willis Re.
The firm has created a pair of group chief operating officer positions, which will be tasked with handling, operations, administration and finance.
Tim Wright and Patrick Regan will occupy the new positions.
Wright’s appointment will become effective in September. He leaves behind Bain & Company, where he is presently UK financial services chief.
Daily responsibility for the Shaping our Future initiatives will be his, as will the responsibility of supervising IT, service centres and operational processes.
Regan is currently chief financial officer. He will be tasked with supervision of the firm’s finance and administration in his new capacity as group chief operating officer.
