Neil Greaves has been named by Marsh as the firm’s new UK Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) Practice chief.

Greaves joined the firm three years ago, and has accrued more than two decades of experience in the industry, with knowledge of public/products liability, material damage and a range of other areas.

Earlier in his career he spent four years working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the capacity of a claims consultant.

In his new London-based position, Greaves will be responsible for developing the FACS business, whilst offering a comprehensive variety of claims and dispute and management services to corporate clientele.

The FACS Practice chief for the EMEA region, Andrew King, has praised Greaves’ extensive experience of claims and recovery.

Greaves himself has said that recent natural disasters, in particular the extraordinary and devastating flooding of last summer, have proven that even with strong risk management procedures businesses can face serious disruptions.

He went on to explain that skilful handling of insurance claims can speed up the process of recovery, adding that he looked forward to helping people get back to business as usual.
