Axis International Loss Adjusters and Surveyors has reported acquiring Global Adjusters, a specialist Middle East-based chartered loss adjuster.

Global Adjusters will now trade under the name Axis International – Middle East, and boosts Axis’s already strong global presence. Axis already operates in Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Oceania.

Global Adjusters has a staff of 30 and operates from offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company was founded in 2005 by Alan Henry with the aim of providing regional insurers and international reinsurers with adjusting expertise delivered by fully qualified professional adjusters living and working in the Middle East.

Chairman and chief executive of Axis, David Jamison, said of the acquisition: “Alan and his team have already established a well respected professional business delivering high quality services across the region.

“This is an important strategic development for Axis and we aim to grow further.”

Alan Henry added: “Axis provides us with access to an international adjusting network which will be of great value to our clients in the region.

“This deal brings together two like-minded and committed service orientated partners.

“This move will enable us to expand our service offering and position us extremely well to take full advantage of the region’s continuing economic growth.”
