ACE has bolstered its Glasgow branch with the appointment of two new, senior underwriters.

Julie Dolla leaves behind Zurich, where she held the position of property underwriter for the corporate team.

She brings with her a decade of experience underwriting in the sector.

In her new role as senior property underwriter Dolla will be tasked with the management of the firm’s Scottish property account.

The second appointment is Gordon Knox, who joins ACE from AIG where he spent half of his eight year stint with the firm serving as the Liabilities Division’s senior casualty underwriter.

Knox has been appointed to the role of senior casualty underwriter.

ACE’s regional manager of Scotland, Gordon Scouller, has expressed his delight at Dolla and Knox’s appointment to the firm’s Glasgow branch.
