Andrew Dodd has been named by Brit Insurance as the firm’s new head of motor fleet for the London area.

His appointment is the last one for the London Region operation, and completes the personnel setup for the newly created division.

He brings with him over two decades of experience in the motor sector, and leaves behind Zurich Global Corporate where he held the post of senior fleet underwriter.

Dodd will be tasked with managing the underwriting team and exploiting market potential in both wholesale and retail to facilitate expansion and development of the account.

Dodd will report directly to Paul Dilley, the regional director for the London Region.

Dilley welcomed the appointment, and has praised Dodd’s unrivalled knowledge of the UK motor market.
