Chris Jones has been hired by Newman Martin and Buchan Limited to join its reinsurance division.

He brings with him over two decades of experience in the sector, having held senior positions with a variety of firms during his lengthy career.

In his new post Jones will be tasked with focusing upon facultative reinsurance, particularly marine classes.

The firm’s reinsurance division managing director, Martin Stephenson, has expressed his pleasure at Jones’ appointment, praising his expertise and experience.

Jones himself has said he is glad to be joining the firm, and lauded its strong reputation.

He went on to say that he was looking forward to working with the team.
