Tony Holt, Amlin’s underwriting director, is taking a few months off work for medical treatment.

During his absence his responsibilities will jointly be taken up by Simon Beale and Brian Carpenter.

Beale is the divisional underwriter for Amlin’s Marine Division and Carpenter is divisional underwriter for the the UK Commercial Division.

Non-marine insurance and specialty classes will have their daily responsibilities handled by Duncan Dale, and reinsurance classes will be managed by Kevin Allchorne.

Dale and Allchorne both have over a decade of experience with the firm.
