David Barr has been named by Marsh as a managing consultant for its environmental practice in the UK.
Barr leaves behind his post as UK environmental team chief, which he held at Willis.
He has held a range of positions in a variety of firms, from waste management to oil and gas exploration, as well as property investment and development funds.
