Marsh poach Willis environmental chief

David Barr has been named by Marsh as a managing consultant for its environmental practice in the UK.

Barr leaves behind his post as UK environmental team chief, which he held at Willis.

He has held a range of positions in a variety of firms, from waste management to oil and gas exploration, as well as property investment and development funds.

Barr is also a qualified geologist and hydrogeologist.

Cliff Warman, Marsh’s EMEA enviromental practice chief, said that Barr’s appointment would bolster the firm’s experience and skills.
