Carole Nash has appointed Clive Roberts to the post of financial director, which will also seem him become the firm’s newest board member.

Roberts brings to the post an expertise in e-commerce, and is also a chartered accountant.

The appointment is the latest in a number of changes to the board since David Newman was named as managing director in September of last year.

Roberts has expressed his delight at being appointed to the board, describing the firm as strong and leading the market.

Newman said that with Roberts’ arrival the final piece was in place for the firm to move forward, with a strong new business plan and greater emphasis on e-commerce.

He went on to say that the firm’s broadening range of offerings outside of its traditional motorcycle insurance business, including motor and travel, were areas that the firm intended to make a greater impact.
