Motorists urged to browse for the best deal

Story link: Motorists urged to browse for the best deal

Website moneysupermarket.com has conducted research which reveals that just because a firm may be a specialist motor insurer does not necessarily mean that it provides the best deals for the motorist.

Recently heavy advertising campaigns have been laid on to promote more specialist insurers, such as Sheilas’ Wheels, in an effort to boost their clientele.

Specialist insurers have become better known to the public of late as a result of this.

However, consumers are urged not to assume that a specialist naturally offers the best deal.

It remains the case that browsing the market for car insurance is the best option for motorists.

Indeed, specialist insurers may sometimes charge as much as 40% more for premiums than their non-specialist counterparts.
