Philip Tuite-Dalton has been appointed to the board of UIB, the Lloyd’s broker.

Tuite-Dalton is the chief operating officer of UIB, and, since joining the group seven years ago, has held the post of director with a variety of subsidiary firms.

He will retain his position as chief operating officer, and will be tasked with bolstering the firm’s effectiveness and broadening the client base so that UIB keeps its strong global position.

Chief executive officer Bassem Kabban has said that Tuite-Dalton has been immensely valuable to the firm during his years with UIB, bringing the advantages of his great experience to the firm.

Kabban went on to say that as the market was in a state of constant change, Tuite-Dalton’s membership of the board would be important in helping the firm face up to the challenges and seize the opportunities the future will present.
