The chairman of Ingram Hawkins and Nock, Rex Ingram, has declared his intention to step down, over four decades after founding the firm.
The firm will be led by managing director Elizabeth Foster, and director and company secretary Neale, who is Rex Ingram’s son.
Ingram has said that he is proud the firm remained independent, not succumbing to the temptation of mergers or the threat of off-the-shelf insurance.
Service is the essence of insurance broking, he said.
Ingram Hawkins and Nock offers customised insurance schemes for recycling firms and organisations including the Freemasons, the vast majority of whose buildings are covered by Ingram Hawkins and Nock.
