The Institute of Risk Management has elected Alex Hindson, Aon’s head of enterprise risk management, as board director.

In his position as director, Hindson will be tasked with the promotion of educational achievement for enterprise risk management.

He will also be responsible for increasing the numbers of international students and members by bolstering the network of blogs and online workshop webinars for those who live overseas.

Hindson will also oversee the bedding in of a new diploma.

He has said that he will be urging his Aon colleagues to study for enterprise risk management qualifications that could improve their career prospects.
