Carole Nash has appointed Simon Jackson as the firm’s new commercial director.

Jackson leaves behind Roadsure, where he was managing director and had experience of motorcycle and niche motor.

He replaces Warren Dickson, who left the firm after a decade and a half to occupy a position outside the insurance industry.

Dickson said that he had had a great time with the firm but that the time was right for new blood, and that he was time for him to move on.

Jackson has described the firm as a market leader, and expressed his delight at joining it.

He went on to say that the responsibilities of his new position were particularly well-suited to him, given his background in motorcycle.

David Newman, managing director, explained that Jackson was recruited precisely because of his expertise in motorcycle.

Newman added that Jackson also has experience in areas of sales, marketing and distribution that would prove vital to the firm’s continuing expansion.
